3 spots·through October 31
Before you pay for anything, I'll make you a real ad. Then run it for 30 days without charging for my time.
20 people asking you for a quote, or I run a second 30 days free.
Before you pay anything
You see the work before you pay for any of it
On the call I build you a real ad for your business and send it over. Takes me half an hour, costs you nothing, and it's yours whether you go ahead or not. I have no results to show you, so this is the closest thing to proof I've got: you look at the work and decide.

Escondido · San Marcos · Vista
Water heater replacement, before it fails.
Your Plumbing Co.

El Cajon · Santee · La Mesa
AC replacement before summer.
Your HVAC Co.
The price
The whole thing, in numbers.
Facebook
$1,500
Your ad budget for the month. Goes straight to Facebook, never to me.
Photos, video and copy
$500
One time. You own all of it forever, whether you keep working with me or not, and it comes back to you if the 20 never land.
My time
$0
For the first 30 days. After that it's $750 a month, locked for as long as you stay.
Three businesses, one a week, through October. After that I start charging for my time.
In return
What I do for that
Build the ads, write them and run them
Cut the photos and video from your own job shots, and shoot more if you need them
Message every lead back within 60 seconds, then ring your phone with them on the line
Send you what came in, what each one cost, and what I'm changing. Every week
The promise
What I’m promising.
20 people asking you for a quote in 30 days. If you don't get there, I run a second 30 days and still don't charge you for my time. If it hasn't happened by day 60, you get the $500 back and we stop there.
The ad budget for the month is $1,500. One water heater replacement is $1,800–$4,500. One roof is $9,000–$30,000. You know your own numbers better than I do.
That works out at $75 a lead, and nobody else gets a copy of it. Price the same thing anywhere that sells exclusive leads and see what it costs you.
The one thing that holds it up
Call your leads within 10 minutes during business hours. That's the whole condition. If they land and sit, the guarantee's off, because at that point the ads did their job and the follow-up didn't, and there's nothing I can build that fixes it. You won't find that out on day 31. I put your response times in front of you every week, and if they're slipping I'll say so in week one, while there's still time to fix it.
What counts as one of the 20
Four things, and they're the same four whether you're doing the counting or I am. You see every lead the day it lands, so the number is never a surprise at the end of the month.
They're inside the service area we agree on day one.
Someone two hours outside it filled the form in, that's not a lead, and I don't get to count it.They asked about the job the ad was for.
If the ad was water heaters and they want a bathroom remodeled, that's a bonus for you and it isn't one of the 20.The phone number connects.
A number that rings out to nowhere is a dead lead and it comes off the count. One person counts once.
Same number coming in twice off two different ads is one lead, not two.
The agreement
What I need from you.
Four things, and we agree them before anything runs. The first one decides whether this works.
Call every lead within 10 minutes
During business hours. This is the whole game, and it's the one thing the guarantee rests on. In 2011 three researchers wrote up 1.25 million web leads in Harvard Business Review. Companies that called inside an hour were nearly seven times more likely to reach someone who could say yes than companies that called an hour later, and more than sixty times more likely than ones that waited a day. In a separate check of 2,241 companies, 23% never answered a web inquiry at all. The paper doesn't say which industries, so treat it as the shape of the thing rather than your number. No ad I write makes up for being third.Let me use the results
Your name, your numbers, your logo. This is the part I'm actually being paid in. I've done this work before and never asked for it, which is why I have nothing to show anyone. We agree it on day one so it isn't a conversation on day 31, and you see every number along the way rather than a write-up at the end.Twenty minutes a week, and tell me what you closed
Lead counts are my number. Closed jobs and revenue are yours, and they're the number that matters. If you won't tell me what you closed, I can't tell you what's working.A testimonial at day 30, if you're happy
Written is fine. Video is better. If it didn't work, you owe me nothing and you say nothing.
Who this isn’t for
Don’t book a call if…
Every one of these means the month fails and neither of us can fix it once it’s started. I’d rather lose the call than waste your ad budget proving it.
You can't put $1,500 into ads this month.
Below that Facebook doesn't get enough data to learn, and I'd be promising you a number I can't hit.Nobody answers your phone between 8 and 5.
Leads sitting in a voicemail box for a day are the same as no leads, and we'd both waste a month finding that out.You have fewer than 10 Google reviews, or your website is broken.
Ads send people to look you up. If what they find is thin, ads make that worse, faster. Fix that first and come back. I mean that.
Day by day
The first week.
On the call
Thirty minutes. Before we hang up I make you a real ad for your business and send it over. Yours either way, no money involved.Same day
You add me to your Facebook page and ad account, and send me your job photos and any video you have. Ten minutes, and that's everything I need from you.Within 24 hours
Ads are live. I write them and cut the video from what you sent, you see all of it before it runs, and the message back and the call to your phone switch on the same day. Send the photos and the access on the day, and the ads run the next.Day 2 to 4
First leads land. You call them. I watch which ads bring people in and cut the ones that don't.Day 7
First report: what came in, what each one cost, what I'm changing.
Questions
Questions I get asked.
If yours isn’t here, ask it on the call. I’d rather answer it before you commit a month than after.
Four questions, about a minute.
If you’re a fit you’ll see my calendar straight away. If not, I’ll tell you why.
